Shorter is SWEETER

Jiggety Jig.

We're here. I don't remember EVER feeling this jet lagged, but I can barely keep my eyes open. I feel like somebody hit me in the head with a sledgehammer. And who made it so cold in Seattle, anyway? Isn't it supposed to be summer? My hopes of escaping Japan and wearing shorts are dashed as I sit here shivering in my sweatshirt, shivering.

We have the two boys after a trip up North, yesterday.

I promise more pictures and thoughts forthcoming. Right now my brain is filled with cotton balls.

Thank you for the comments. Y'all know how much I love to read them.

And HOLY SHIT, who made it so expensive here?

Can you say CULTURE SHOCK?

Seattle is actually cold the majority of the time, my friend lives there and is looking to move soon.

Glad you made it safely. I agree with you on Seattle, which is one reason why I picked Nashville over it. Going to be there in three weeks for a friend's bachelorette party.

Expensive? I thought everywhere else but Japan was downright reasonable. I remember my 70 plus year old mother in law carrying about $80.00 worth of groceries back from the store without any strain....

Speaking of cultural shock:

Remember to drive on the right.
Look left before stepping off the curb.
And no matter how many times you reach for them, the turn signals are on the left. (Seriously, you can't believe how long it took for that to become automatic again....)
