Next, I was waiting for her to say that BillyJoeBobScottAlister didn't know how to buy her presents because she was too busy in the kitchen while he was too busy dragging his knuckles on the floor.
So if your significant other doesn't know HOW to buy you a damn present? That's your own damn fault.

Oy. I'm also tired of the "boys can only do X, girls can only do Y" reasoning people like to use. For example, when other women hear that one of the things I do at work is to maintain our department's website, they tend to say something like, "Oh, you are so lucky. I just don't get that whole technology internet thing." You are so lucky? People would never say such a thing if a guy was talking.
I love that -- the "give a shit" chromosome. It's not rocket science to notice what I woman admires in a store or to listen to what she's saying she wants. We aren't subtle creatures, either.
