Stress 101

Know what I did today?

Hunh?

Hunh?

Do you do you do you do you do you?

I cried at a staff meeting over fucking soggy eggrolls.

Hello? When did I suddenly turn into Suzie McKitchen?

Memo to self: Quit fucking crying when you are stressed. Please help me to be angry man, so I can punch shit! YEAH! Not really.

Daddy always talks about this sphere of influence, and how I cannot worry about what is OUTSIDE the sphere of influence.

Outside sphere of influence:

Fertility. And the nagging fear that dh doesn't want to have kids because he already has two of his own. Irrational, and unfounded, I know - but if we didn't know how hard they were, wouldn't we want them at any cost? I don't know.

Inside sphere of influence:

Soggy egg rolls.
Everything else.

My worst flaw (as opposed to the cute, tolerable flaws HA! I am so funny.): I never know how stressed out I am until I feel a panic attack coming on, and whoo EE! Those are fanfuckingtastic.

I'm taking two. I'll call you in the morning.

My mama always said that as long as I stayed mad, I'd be okay. I still haven't quite decided if that's a good thing.

Chris sez ....
My wife and I have been trying to get pregers for the last year.
The whole PROCESS seems harder on her than me.
She gets caught up in the ..... ("What if's") .......
She does the same thing(gets very emotional)the first few times that I saw her get this way it really freaked me out and scared me. I wanted to stop whatever was upsetting her. But .... I have found with her that .... the crying .... is the fix.
She gets it out and feels better ... and I listen.

It took me a while to get that ...

That I did not have to do anything ...

Just listen.

My Dad always says the same thing but in a different way and while its true, practical advice I never want to hear it LOL.

I think its all going to come together at the right time. Both you and Hubby aren't as settled as you want to be with your jobs, locations and such right now. Don't be so hard on yourself, crying is a good thing, bottling it up is far WORSE.

Big hugs. You know you can call if you need to talk.

PS> Chris, can you come have a talk with Hubby for me? Finally a man that gets it!

I hate the whole "I'm stressed, therefore I bawl" reaction. It makes it harder for people to take me seriously- and I have absolutely no control over it!!

Stupid girly wiring...it needs an "off" switch sometimes.
