Funny how we see things the way we want to. I CANNOT stand it when people post lyrics on their blogs, but I simply have no words after dropping dh off. A kick in the chest. A robbing of breath. A stomach in knots. A pounding head. And the beginning of a loneliness that is almost tangible. I'll at least do y'all the favor of posting my lyrics at the bottom. That way, you don't have to subject yourself to them if you don't want to.

My husband is gone right now. I find that working really makes the time go by quicker. I know what you are feeling. My husband went to the field before he was deployed. The night that he came back, he was told that he needed to pack his things and be ready to leave the next morning. We had a couple of hours together. This life just makes you stronger. Hang in there!!

Embrace the solitude! Do something that you've always wanted to do by yourself. Meditate, write poetry... But keep busy.
