Today's P word is PHONE. I just got off the phone with a good friend of mine, from YEARS BACK, yo. I met her when I was 16 years old. Even though we're not in touch all the time, she's always been there for the important things. Divorces, deaths, tubals, and sometimes she's just there to tell me to get my head out of my ass in general. I think everyone should have a friend or friends like that. Some one who you can be completely honest with because you aren't afraid that you will disappoint them, because you know their love for you is unconditional.
You know what? Vagisil needs some new marketing executives or what time our commercials appear on TV people, because I'll be damned if I'm going to sit there with my 13 year old hormonal stepson and endure a "Itching? Odor? Try our..." blah de blah blah blah. Being the mighty overanalyst that I am, I thought, "If I change it now, he'll know I'm embarrassed, but if I leave it...SHIT! Why do they have these damn things on now, anyway?" I know these things can occur at any time, but do I have to be forced to watch it with HIM?
I absolutely adore finding a teenage scribbled piece of paper with the words "Prostitutes pay you" and "Never Hungry" on it. It's a constant debate as to what and what not expose them to. Yes, my English skills deteriorate over the summer. My fault is in trying to relate how I felt at the time. When I was 13, my favorite band was Guns N' Roses. There's lots of "fuck" and "shit" and "Turn around bitch I've got a use for you"'s, and I came out okay! Stop laughing. I'm serious. I certainly didn't incorporate it into my vocabulary or lifestyle. Dh does get a little pissed when I call him my bitch, though.
Know what else? I'll save y'all from my ramblings. I guess that's what happens when I'm left home alone to my own devices. Sent those men to the movies, yes I did. I'll wait for Revenge of the Sith to come out on tape, thank you very much.

i of course already have it on dvd! no, not really, just kidding.
next time that commercial comes on, just ask him if he needs some. once you broach the subject with him, he will be forced to deal with the possibility of talking during every one of those commercials.
and we guys have an aversion to the maintenance of that region. we are only interested in it's presentation and exploitation.
I have one friend like that who I can always count on to lexture me when I do something stupid. :)
As for commercials like that, my daughter and I always laugh at the Stayfree ones.
