Like, wow, y'all! I am soooo excited! It's like 12:21 here in humid-y Charleston, and the blog, yeah the blog, yeah the blog is back! Not to be mistaken with the bitch, who is also back.
I don't know WHERE the blog went, but I can tell you that sometimes it is good when people don't do their jobs. I was supposed to do this today:
Seattle Portland
Portland Chicago
Chicago Charleston
Fun, yes? HEELLLLLL NOOOOO.
So when I went though security, they didn't give me the magic stamp. Because I look like SOOO suspicious, y'all. It's the fake pinky red hair. Pinky Tuscadero lives again! Then, when I went to get on the plane they said, "You have no stamp! You will not get on!" So I puffed up my chest, got my best Momma face on and said:
"Okay."
Because sometimes I feel like being agreeable. And quite frankly, I'd rather be with dh than dis tant. Job interview be damned.
But the frustratingly efficient gate agent got me here. With only one connection! And on time! Plane Gods be praised! WITH MY LUGGAGE! In which NOT ONE THING LEAKED! Even though I packed many illegal and leaky and foolish things! That would ruin my clothes forever! Thank god I only packed for a week! I hate exclamation points!
I am having some dizzy though. The dizzy is fun when you're dancing or doing something equally coordinationally challenging. Like scuba diving. But not when you're standing there in a deserted Thrifty, shifting like a stumbling duck.
I sleep.
Charleston or Charlotte? Y'all tell me. And YOU. If you are reading this and YOU know who you are because I am driving up to see YOU on Friday. I know that YOU vote for Charlotte. And that's okay. Because if we live close to each other, we can laugh and call each other Chloe.
Good luck with your interviews. And wouldn't it be fun to be close to someone you can laugh with again? I certainly could use some of that up in here at the moment. Oh, but at least Schaffhausen isn't flooded like the rest of Swissland. And Ali comes on Monday. So, really, what the hell am I complaining about. So good luck. C'est tout.
