As evidenced by the sad, sad fact that I have had this window (the writing window) open since I GOT HOME FROM SCHOOL YESTERDAY. Tres Witty! Que Writing Skills! I polished off some white wine, opened the red, and watched 'Sideways' with dh instead.
Now that was a movie. Of what caliber, I'm not sure. I can tell you that I was highly amused when Paul Giamatta was running down the hill with Thomas Hyde in pursuit, downing the bottle. I just kept thinking, "Watch where you're going! You might trip and spill it!" Signs of a true wine snob, sipping on my $5.00 bottle o' charm.
True life calls, unfortunately. I have made myself available to go watch a recital this afternoon, because I read somewhere that it is good to support your students outside the classroom as well. Damn, I'm a sucker.
We are under the 40 day mark. Under the 40 day mark (mark, mark, mark, can you hear the echo?). De Plane! De Plane! I cannot wait to get on De Plane! We will shed our military skins with...much hooting and hollering and nakedness.
But not in front of the children. Avert your eyes.

wow. we just got done watching sideways before i logged onto BE for the first time in forEVER and came up on your site and this post. weird. i just had to tell you, i was thinking the exact same thing about the hill scene...i was all concerned about their feet and where they were, and how many times did he fall doing that?
...not too sure i loved it. pretty sure i didn't. it was really something.
I loved Sideways! It was a litle dark, but that's how I like my movies! I liked it when he went after the wine in the "dump bucket!"
