I just wrote this lovely, chatty little post about getting a job, and my wonderful friends from Saipan TBA and her husband Phyllis and their most fabulous, lovely, intelligent baby and dh, and you know what? Right before my very eyes the screen went back three to NOTHING! Very strange! Katrina! El Nino! You will pay!

As it is, the computer's running out of battery, and quite frankly I'm too lazy to go upstairs to get the plug. Yes, fat ass, party of one, right here. Although, today I did see a pin that said, "A fat ass is a sign of a life well-lived." And laughed and laughed and laughed. I am EXTREMELY well-lived.

I picked up a job at one of the schools here and am SO EXCITED that not only can I just NOT HIDE IT, I also think I might urinate. TBA (because her internet name is to be arranged...she's thinking) and her husband, Phyllis, have been letting me stay here. Which is no small favor, considering that they are a new family, with a new baby, and those keep you busy. Almost like college partying days busy. Except it is a baby. And you aren't out all night. You're up all night. And singing, "HELLO! EVERYBODY! MY BALL IS BIG AND BLUE! ROLL IT BACK AROUND! SO IT GOES FROM ME TO YOU!" loudly so the baby is happy. All night.

I will say that my singing repertoire has expanded ten fold, considering how many of the kiddie songs I have picked up in the last several days. We must look like lunatics in the car. Shut up. I didn't ask you.
