Blank Slate
I know that I was overly eager to get settled in to my new home, but I guess there is something to be said about not being OVERWHELMED with color. After spending the last three days and anticipating the next 5 weeks in a kindergarten classroom, this page could not be clean enough. Staring at the muted grays and whites of movable type as opposed to the blinding orange and dark blue (okay.not blinding. just disturbing.UVA, anyone?) of my previous home, I feel a sense of calm. Rare, rare, rare for me. And boring, boring, boring for you all. Spring Break tomorrow. I will YIPP PPEEE at 1:00. 16 hours 15 minutes and counting.

Do a little dance...
Wow! A new home! Reminds me of a fresh page of notebook paper. I'm so excited, I can barely stand it. Did I mention that I go into convulsions at the sight of a new bookstore? Much less a brand spankin' new blog? I am very perturbed that I must go to work today and actually earn my living, as opposed to staying at home and fiddling around with this wonderful new template. *sigh* Off to the grindstone, y'all. I shall return shortly. Parting will be such sweet sorrow!

Inventory
Dorothy Parker
Four be the things I am wiser to know:
Idleness, sorrow, a friend, and a foe.
Four be the things I'd been better without:
Love, curiosity, freckles, and doubt.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
Three be the things I shall have till I die:
Laughter and hope and a sock in the eye.
